Dr. Santosh Yadav is an Ayurvedic Practitioner, has been practicing Ayurveda for 15 years and has successfully established two clinics in Melbourne to serve the Australian community.
Dr. Santosh has devoted his life to this science and completed his undergraduate and postgraduate degree in Ayurveda. He has completed a Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery from University of Lucknow and Post Graduate degree from Banaras Hindu University from India.
Dr. Santosh Yadav is a founder and Clinical Director of Ayurveda Yoga Wellness clinic Pty Ltd(AYWC). AYWC is an Ayurvedic Centre for wellbeing. Ayurveda Yoga Wellness The clinic was established in 2007 to promote the practice of Ayurveda in Australia. His goal is to popularise Ayurveda through Ayurvedic Medicine, Ayurvedic treatment, Yoga and Meditation. He has successfully established two clinics in Melbourne to serve the Australian Community.
He is interested in sharing valuable knowledge and wisdom of the ancient healing traditions of India. He is actively involved in disseminating this knowledge to the community in a simple way and has achieved this through conferences, radio, workshops, talks and seminars.
He is specialized in the treatment of conditions Anxiety, Stress, Depression, and Chronic Diseases such as Rheumatoid arthritis, Eczema, Psoriasis, Diabetes, Weight loss etc. through the holistic approach of the Ayurveda, Yoga and Kareli Panchakarma Treatment (Detox Treatment).
Apart from his Clinic, he is involved in AYURVEDA associations and other community work with different organizations to help the Australian community.
Dr. Yadav is the founder and head of AYUSH Information Cell, Australia, Minister of AYUSH, Govt of India. The aim of the AYUSH information cell is to organize lectures, seminars on Ayurveda, YOGA and related systems and create awareness about the traditional Indian system of Medicine also facilitate Ayurveda bodies and organize International Ayurveda and Yoga Days. This AYUSH information cell is the connecting link between Australia and Indian in Natural medicine.
Dr. Yadav is the president of the Australasian Association of Ayurveda (AAA), since 2016. Australasian Association of Ayurveda helps promote Ayurveda awareness in Australia and help and assist the ayurvedic professionals to provide best care and wellness advice.
Dr. Yadav is the Founder and President of the Uttar Pradesh Association of Australia Inc. (UPAA), UPAA helps bring the Uttar Pradesh community together and maintain the cultural and ethnic values of Uttar Pradesh. It supports people from the UP-state origin residing in Australia to understand the Australian values, become an integral part of the local community and work together to further develop the community through various events. To work with NGOs globally for the development of the local communities in Uttar Pradesh and other parts of India.
Multicultural Ambassadors 2019 at the Mental Health Foundation Australia
The MHFA Multicultural Ambassador’s Program was initiated in 2017 to further engage multicultural and Indigenous communities in promoting positive mental health and wellbeing, via a network of dedicated volunteers throughout Victoria.
Dr. Yadav also closely works with the Hindu foundation to help in counseling and other mental health issues to Hindu foundation community members and other Victorian Families in need.
Dr. Yadav was also the Organiser of “Swami Ramdev Yoga Camp & workshop for health and wellbeing” in Melbourne April, 2015 to promote “GOOD HEALTH and WELL-BEING” of the people of Australia, through his YOGA Camps in Melbourne. Swami Ramdev is one of the World’s leading and most acclaimed Yoga Masters.
Dr. Santosh Yadav is hereby designated as HONORARY HOLISTIC HEALTH, WELLBEING & WELLNESS BOARD ADVISORS (MEDICAL) at council of the Confederation of International Accreditation Commission.
Dr. Santosh Yadav is a Member of Advisory Board @ International Journal of Ayurvedic Health Sciences (IJHAS).
Dr. Yadav has received the “Mahatma Gandhi Community Service Award” for the service to the community with Love, care and dedication in the field of Ayurveda. This award was presented by Hindu Foundation Victoria on 30th September 2012.
He has also received “HIND RATTAN AWARD” in 2012 presented every year to selected Non-resident Indians for their outstanding services, achievements and contributions presented at the 31st International Congress of NRIs on 25 January 2012 in New Delhi.
Dr. Yadav has clearly made a significant and valuable contribution in filling a gap in this field of natural medicine in Australia.
